MATH 90—INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA FOR STEM MAJORS 5 UNITS

Formerly listed as: MATH 90: Intermediate Algebra
Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of MATH 30 (formerly MATH 70) or qualification by the MJC assessment process. Equivalent to second year high school algebra. Topics include linear, quadratic, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations; complex numbers; solving systems of equations using substitution, matrices and determinants; conic sections; transformations; sequences, series and combinatorics.
