Math 105 Video Resources

Lehrer Song on Subtraction - Apparently the Brownell Method was considered New Math in 1965; now it's standard and people cling to it and call Common Core ridiculous!

Japanese Line Multiplication - I'm intrigued by the title.  When people find something on their own that seems to them to be a "trick," they are excited and say it is easier, but when something is proposed through the school system (i.e. Common Core) they say it is confusing, hard and evil.  (Video linked to me by Amy 6.4.14)
